CODE LINE'S ART DIRECTORS TOOLKIT INCORPORATES PANTONE® COLORS

West Hills, CA--July 8, 2002--Code Line is releasing a much anticipated major update to its popular "Art Directors Toolkit". Art Directors Toolkit is a software application that incorporates several utilities custom made for graphic designers and creative professionals. Art Directors Toolkit is currently available for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

One of ADT's new features is the "Swatches" utility which provides a revolutionary way for artists to find color swatches based on color information. Traditionally, artists would have to sift through over 1,000 color swatches in some cases, to find the one swatch they're looking for. With ADT's latest update, if you're looking for red, only red-based swatches will appear. The Swatches utility currently supports PANTONE® MATCHING SYSTEM® Color libraries for coated, uncoated paper stocks, HTML Colors and Websafe Colors libraries.
"We're pleased to have signed a licensing agreement with Pantone, Inc. late last year. This is our first implementation of that globally recognized Color System", said Dakoske.
ADT also now provides a screen ruler allowing on-screen measuring of layouts and/or images and additional font information can be accessed including The ability to show the location of a font's screen (and PostScript) file(s).
