The easiest way to purchase software is using our website. Licenses can be purchased online using Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Licenses can also be purchased by sending a check/money order drafted in US funds. For more information, visit our Purchase page.

I just purchased a license online—where is my registration information?
Immediately after purchasing a license online, you will receive an email confirming your order. This email will not have your registration information. Your registration will be emailed as soon as your order is processed in an email titled then name of the application the license pertains to. Orders are usually processed within hours of us receiving them.

How many computers does a single-user license support?
Purchasing a license from Code Line entitles you to install and use a full version of that application on one primary computer and one secondary computer used by the license holder. A license also entitles you to unlimited free same version updates. Commercial updates will be made available at a reduced price.

How do I register my application to unlock its demo?
After purchasing a license, you will receive an email from "Code Line Software Sales". The subject of that email will be the name of the application you puchased the license for. To unlock the demo, launch the application and click the "Register" button on the "About" window. If your demo has not yet expired, you can find the "About" window by selecting the "About Application Name…" from the Apple Menu (Mac OS), Application Menu (Mac OS X), or Help Menu (Windows). There you will be presented with a window where you can enter the registration information you were sent. Make sure to enter the information exactly as you see it.

Our more recent Mac OS X-only applications allow you to enter your serial number by selecting "License..." from the application menu.

ScreenShot Pro

Mac OS (Classic)

When I capture the screen, my screen turns black or an error shows up of "NilObjectException" and immmediately quits. What's wrong?
This error ususally occurs when not enough memory is allocated to the application. To increase ScreenShot Pro's memory allocation, go to the Finder, select the ScreenShot Pro icon and select "Get Info" from the File Menu. Under the Memory section, increase both the Minimum and Preferred sizes by a few megabytes or more. (i.e. Increase the preferred size from 10,000k to 13,000k or more.) If the problem persists after increasing the memory allocation a few times, please contact Technical Support.
