After launching ScreenShot Pro, this simple pallet becomes accessible no matter what application you're in. Just click on the left icon to capture and recapture your screen. Version 2.0 also allows you to use Command-Shift-5 to capture your screen. After you're done, click the right icon to quit. It's that simple.

It's proofing magic! ScreenShot Pro allows you to send concepts to your client in seconds by allowing you to save selected images from any program in a common file format such as JPG; ready for uploading or emailing. This time-consuming process used to require you to take a screen shot (Command-Shift-4), find the pict file where your system stores it, open in it some kind of image converter, re-save it and throw away the original pict file. ScreenShot Pro can be launched each time you need a new image, or runs comfortably in the background.
The new Tools Pallet (above right) under "Advanced Mode" enables you to see a magnified view of your cursor's position. In addition, you can use this pallet to select three different methods for selecting your image including One-shot, Resizable and Fixed-size.
ScreenShot Pro requires no Control Panels or Extensions, so you don't run the risk of any System conflicts.

After you've selected an image using ScreenShot Pro's cross-hairs, this preview window pops up and allows you to preview the image you just selected. You then have the option of saving the image in any number of formats* anywhere you'd like, cancelling and trying again, or copy the image to your clipboard.
